The Edinboro University Foundation was founded in 1998 to support the mission of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, now PennWest Edinboro, through the cultivation and management of gifts, grants, and other resources for the benefit of the students and faculty.

Our Major Programs Include
Scholarships to University Students
- The Edinboro University Foundation currently invests more than $37 million of endowment funds which create the scholarships available to PennWest Edinboro Students.
- For academic year 2022-2023, the Foundation will make available $1,290,400 for scholarships, drawing from university and foundation endowments, an increase of $115,800 over the prior academic year.
Donor Gifts and Grants to Edinboro University
The Foundation takes an active role in seeking donor gifts and grants to benefit programs at PennWest, Edinboro. For fiscal year ending June 30, 2021, this category of support totaled $682,008.
Program Support
Program support for the benefit of PennWest Edinboro, Edinboro University Alumni Association, and other charitable organizations.
